ENERGETIC is a pre-race and/or post-race electrolyte and recovery formula for performance horses.
ENERGETIC is formulated to provide the essential balanced electrolytes to maintain optimum body fluid composition and prevent dehydration. It also provides the readily available energy sources glucose & medium chain triglycerides; the biological antioxidants Vitamins C and beta carotene; and the essential branch chain amino acids to replace damaged muscle tissue after severe exertion. These are essential to performance horses to optimise both the energy availability during a race, and the recovery process after hard racing and training.

Indications
Medium Chain Triglycerides supply fats as an alternative energy source to glycogen & glucose, to delay lactic acid buildup and muscle fatigue/ Tying Up.
Glucose and Maltodextrin are highly bioavailable carbohydrates of value during the stages of racing requiring maximum exertion, where energy availability is critical. The balanced electrolytes maintain normal body function within optimum range for maximum performance. The Branch Chain Amino Acids provide the essential components to allow muscle tissue to repair quickly & efficiently after hard work, and the antioxidants reduce muscle and cellular damage during severe exertion, and significantly improve recovery.
ENERGETIC is of value when used as a pre-race energy supplement, and as a post-race ?¢‚Ǩ?ìpick me up?¢‚Ǩ? to maximise recovery.
ENERGETIC is also useful when horses are travelling, to reduce dehydration and stress. Horses quickly learn to drink this product in water, or to eat it in their feed, which makes it very useful when travelling and campaigning horses in strange venues where they may be reluctant to drink. When using ENERGETIC in the feed, always ensure free access to clean, palatable drinking water.

Dosage and Administration
One sachet of ENERGETIC can ideally be mixed in 2.5 - 3 litres water, and the horse is able to drink this whenever required. In this manner, ENERGETIC can be provided wherever the horse is travelling to, or easily at home.
ENERGETIC is safely mixed as a powder in food, as long as horses drink shortly after eating. Mix one sachet in food 24 hours before travel or hard work.
Endurance and other hard working horses may be supplemented with ENERGETIC in drinking water at rest stops whenever required.

ENERGETIC may be safely used with all Nature Vet supplements.

Trainers Tips:
Recovery: ENERGETIC in drinking water post race, in combination with RECOVERY & COPHOS B pastes significantly improve recovery of muscle and tissue.
Pre-Event:
ENERGETIC given pre-event (as drench, or in food 24 hours before event) provides essential highly available energy sources to sustain high performance, and helps reduce tissue damage during severe exertion by providing antioxidants and BCAAs.
The Perfect Pickup:
Use VAM and RECOVERY paste within 30 minutes of completing hard work. Allow access to ENERGETIC in drinking water as soon as horse cools down. Try COPHOS B paste to allow muscles to build up phosphate reserves again after hard exertion.
Tying Up:
Try ENERGETIC pre-event, AMP-5 and TRIPART paste 24 hours before, and again 4 - 6 hours before event. Consider daily supplements of UNTIE in food.
Travelling & Hot Weather:
Mix ENERGETIC in 2.5 - 3 L of water, for horses to drink whenever required to prevent dehydration and travel stress.
